Islamabad July 26 2022: Supreme Court of Pakistan reserve its judgement on hearing of Punjab Chief Minister case submitted by Pervaiz Ellahi, the candidate of PTI and PML-Q.
Supreme Court of Pakistan will announce the decision at 17:45 PST today 26th July 2022 says Supreme Court Chief Justice Umar Ata Bandial. Supreme Court three-member bench comprising Chief Justice of Pakistan Umar Ata Bandial, Justice Munib Akhtar and Ijaz Ul Ahsan is hearing the case.
The PML-Q had filed a petition on Saturday against the ruling of the Punjab Deputy Speaker Dost Mazari that paved the way for Hamza Shahbaz to retain his post of the chief minister of the province.
The Supreme Court on Monday rejected the pleas to form a full court bench on petitions related to the Punjab chief minister’s re-election.
