Karachi January 31 2023: According to All Sindh Sarafa Jewelers Association, the price of gold per tola decreased by PKR 3,200 per tola for 24 Karat on Tuesday (PST 18:30) after hitting intraday low of 1 lakh 98 thousand 400.
Pakistani currency gain 1.76 or 0.65 percent on Tuesday against dollar to close at 267.89 in Interbank as ministry of finance starts talks with IMF mission for the tranche of USD 1.2 billion.
After this decrease, the price of gold per tola in the country has reached 2 lakh 2 thousand and 700 after hitting low of 1 lakh 98 thousand 400 in Intraday trading.
During the last week the price of Gold increased by PKR 21,350 per tola to touch all time high of PKR 2 lac 8 thousand 400 on Saturday 28th January 2023.
The price of 24 karat 10 grams of gold trading at PKR 1 lakh 73 thousand 790, whereas that of 10 gram 22 karat drop to PKR 159,306, All Sindh Sarafa Jewellers Association reported.
The per tola silver is trading at PKR 2,350 on Tuesday compared with 2,330 price on Monday.
In International market gold prices decline by USD 5.56 or 0.23 percent (at PST 18:40) as the dollar firmed, while investors kept a close watch on the U.S. Federal Reserve’s interest rate hike decision and policy outlook.
