Pakistan Ruling Parties Workers Entered Red Zone to Protest Against Top Court Ruling in Favor of Khan

Islamabad May 15 2023: Spokesman of Islamabad Police says that activists of political parties affiliated to Pakistan Ruling parties coalition Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) have entered the high security red zone of Islamabad, but the situation is still peaceful.

It should be remembered that the parties included in the PDM and the Pakistan People’s Party have announced today (Monday) to hold a peaceful protest in front of the Supreme Court, in which hundreds of workers, including a large number of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam workers apparently.

According to the Islamabad Police, police and Rangers have made strict security arrangements in the red zone. On the other hand, convoys of workers belonging to PDM parties are moving towards Islamabad from different cities.

It should be noted that the head of PDM had said in his statement yesterday that there will be a peaceful protest in front of the Supreme Court tomorrow.

In view of the protest in front of the Supreme Court by the coalition of the ruling parties of Pakistan, walk-through gates were installed a little ahead of Serena Chowk to stop the vehicles of people coming in the form of a rally and walk through these walk-through gates.

Anti-judiciary banners have been displayed on various highways of Islamabad, while banners in favor of the army have been displayed on Dastur Highway.

Troops of Police, FC and Rangers have been deployed inside and outside Supreme. The government ministers requested Maulana Fazlur Rehman to move the protest out of the red zone to D Chowk, but Maulana Fazlur Rehman has rejected the government’s request and the protesters have entered the red zone.

Apart from JUI-F, People’s Party and ANP have also announced to join the protest of the ruling coalition.
