Islamabad June 2 2023: Board Of Directors of Bestway Cement Limited (the Company) in their meeting held on Thursday, June 1, 2023 to invest in the shares of United Bank Limited subject to the approval of shareholders.
Share price of UBL gain 4.75 percent or PKR 5.45 per share after the announcement at Pakistan Stock Exchange.
The Board has also decided to increase authorized share capital of the Company from PKR 7 billion to PKR 47 billion subject to the approval of shareholders and seek shareholders approval for the capitalization of profits of the Company.
The Extraordinary General Meeting (EGM) of the Company will be held on Thursday, June 22, 2023.
