Riyadh February 7 2024: Saudi Arabia cement exports doubles to 177 thousand tons in January 2024 from 90 thousand tons during the month of December 2023, as per data released by Yamama Cement.
Saudi cement exported 145 thousand tons which is 82 percent of the overall sales during the month of January 2024.
However, the country exports are still down 18.1 percent when compared with exports of 216 thousand tons in January 2023, according to the data.
The aggregate sales of cement producers increased by 6.1 percent to 4.7 million tons in January from 4.4 million tons sales of last month and 3.6 percent from 4.5 million tons a year ago.
