Karachi March 18 2024: Pakistan has to repay an amount of USD 10.5 billion this fiscal year out of which an amount of USD 3.5 billion is still not arranged, says State Bank of Pakistan Governor while speaking to Analyst after MPC.
This also includes USD 1 billion maturity of Euro bond.
“At the beginning of this fiscal year, the outstanding payment stood at USD 24.3 billion, of which USD 13.5 billion has already been settled. However, there remains a balance of 10.8 billion to be paid within the next three and a half months,” he further explained.
“Arrangement for roll over of USD 2 billion are in pipeline which could be done this week” he added.
