Islamabad May 23 2023: Accountability Court of Islamabad has accepted the pre-arrest bail application of former Prime Minister Imran Khan’s wife Bushra Bibi in the Al-Qadir Trust case.
Islamabad Accountability Court Judge Muhammad Basheer has approved the pre-arrest bail application of former Prime Minister Imran Khan’s wife Bushra Bibi. The court has granted him interim bail till May 31.
The court has ordered the lawyer of the accused to submit a surety bond of five lakh rupees.
Bushra Bibi’s lawyer Khawaja Haris told the court that his client had not received any notice from NAB.
It should be noted that the National Accountability Bureau has issued a notice to Bushra Bibi for being investigated in the Al-Qadir Trust case.
The Lahore High Court had accepted Bushra Bibi’s pre-arrest bail application in this case and ordered her to appear before the magistrate court by May 23.
