Islamabad February 9 2023: Economic Coordination Committee (EEC) to take up increase in prices of 124 medicines including paracetamol along fixation of prices for 18 medicine in its tomorrow meeting.
A meeting of Economic Coordination Committee (ECC) of the Cabinet will be held on Friday, the 10″ February, 2023 at 0930 hours in Islamabad. The Minister for Finance & Revenue will chair the meeting.
ECC will consider Proposal for Increase in Maximum Retail Price (MRPs) of Paracetamol Products, Approval of Increase in Maximum Retail Prices (MRPs) of 119 Drugs as under Hardship Category as Recommended by DPC in its 53’d Meeting and Approval of Increase in Maximum Retail Prices (MRPs) of Four (04) Drugs under Hardship Category as Recommended by DPC in its 52. Meeting.
Moreover, ECC will also consider Approval of for Fixation of Maximum Retail Prices (MRPs) of 18 New Drugs as Recommended by Drug Pricing Committee (DPC) in its 53rd Meeting 27′ to 29′ December, 2022.
ECC will also take up Kamyab Pakistan Program and Wheat Subsidy Issue in Gilgit-Baltistan.
The meeting will also give approval to Declaration of Commerciality, approval of Field Petroleum Development Plan and Grant of Development and Production Lease Over Jugan Field (Latif Block) and will grant in Two Years Extension in Renewal in Missa Keswal Development and Production Lease (D&PL) Covering an Area of 23.43 SQ.KMs in District Rawalpindi, Punjab.
