Karachi March 12 2025: Pakistan’s Flat Steel Manufacturers, International steel, cut CRC prices by PKR 17,700 per ton to PKR 206,500 per ton, according to the notification issued by the company.
“Major reason behind this price reduction is the decline in HRC prices internationally by USD 52/ton to USD 472/ton (today) from USD 524/ton (October 11, 2024)” states Foundation Securities in its social media message.
“We expect a gradual recovery in flat steel demand in FY25 and onwards owing to softening of commodity prices along with easing inflation, interest rates reversal and stable PKR/USD parity” the message added.
