Karachi April 19 2023: Pakistan Refinery Limited reported profit of PKR 1.77 billion for the third quarter ended March 30, 2023, according to company filing to the exchange.
However, refinery profitability plunged 67.9 percent when compared with profit of PKR 5.52 billion in the corresponding period last year.
Refinery posted gross profit of PKR 4.4 billion for the third quarter which is 38.5 percent lower when compared with the corresponding period last year. Finance cost of the refinery jump to PKR 1.88 billion for the quarter when compared with PKR 316 million last year.
Pakistan Refinery Limited was incorporated in Pakistan as a public limited company in May 1960. The company is engaged in the production and sale of petroleum products. The Company is a subsidiary of Pakistan State Oil Company Limited (PSO).
