Karachi April 18 2025: Pakistan earned USD 342 million by providing different Information Technology (IT) services in various countries during the month of March 2025, according to data released by State Bank of Pakistan.
This is the second highest monthly technology exports for any given month in the history of the country after December 2024 technology exports of USD 347 million.
This shows an increase of 12.1 percent as compared to USD 259 million earned through provision of Technology services during the previous month of this year. Moreover, Technology exports increased by 11.8 percent when compared with exports of USD 305 million in March 2024.
Overall, during the period from July 2024 to March 2025 the Information Technology exports increased by 23.6 percent to USD 2,825 million when compared with exports of USD 2,284 million during the corresponding period last year.
