Lahore June 1 2023: Spokesperson Pervez Elahi has confirmed his arrest. He said that Parvez Elahi was arrested outside his residence on Chaudhry Zahoor Elahi Road.
Caretaker Information Minister Punjab Aamir Mir while talking to Geo News said that the anti-corruption unit has arrested Parvez Elahi with the help of the police and he was wanted in an anti-terrorism case.
It should be noted that earlier a raid was conducted on the residence of Parvez Elahi by the Punjab Police to arrest him, but the arrest could not be made. The stand taken by the Punjab government at that time was that an attempt was made to arrest Parvez Elahi in an anti-corruption case.
