Islamabad October 4 2022: Pakistan trade deficit decreased 19.7 percent during the month of September to USD 2,882 million, according to data released by Pakistan Bureau of Statistics.
As per the latest data released, exports stood at USD 2,387 million while Imports were USD 5,269 million during September 2022.
The data showed that exports during September 2022 were 3.83 percent lower than exports of August 2022 and 0.91 percent lower compared to exports of September 2021.
The data showed that imports during September 2022 were 13.81 percent lower than imports of August 2022 and decreased by 19.72 percent compared to imports of September 2021.
Moreover, trade deficit also decreased by 21.42 percent during the month of September 2022 when compared with data of the corresponding month last year.
