Pakistani Player Reaches Final By Beating Indian In Bangabandhu International Squash Tournament 2021

Dhaka October 24 2021: Pakistani squash player Mr. Noor Zaman breaks into the final of the Men’s Bangabandhu International Squash Tournament 2021 being held in Dhaka, Bangladesh from October 20-24, 2021, says a press release received here today from Dhaka.

Noor Zaman, 2nd seeded in the championship defeated Mr. Navaneeth Prabhu of India in Semi Final that was played today at the Gulshan Club Dhaka.

India v Pakistan: Clash of the titans as fiercest of rivals meet again


Six Pakistani players including Mr. Noor Zaman, Mr. Muhammad Farhan Hashmi, Mr. Hamza Sharif Muhammad Ashab Ifran , Salman Saleem and Mr. Ali Uddin participated in the tournament. High Commissioner for Pakistan in Dhaka, Mr. Imran Ahmed Siddiqui welcoming Pakistani Squash players in Dhaka congratulated Noor Zaman on his splendid victory and reaching the final of the international squash tournament. He also praised the performance of other Pakistani players at the Championship.

The High Commissioner said that sporting activities play a significant role in promoting bilateral ties between states and expressed hope that the positive vibes generated by the visit of the Pakistani Squash team to Bangladesh would help strengthen people to people contacts and further improve relations between the two brotherly countries. The High Commissioner wished good luck to Mr. Noor Zaman for his final match.

Final match will be played on 24th October 2021 at 1pm (local time).
