Riyadh December 7 2023: The aggregate sales of 17 Saudi cement producers dropped 7% to 4.4 million tons in November, from 4.8 million tons a year earlier, according to recent data issued by Yamama Cement Co.
Locally, eight companies reported higher sales, led by Umm Al-Qura Cement Co. with a 66% year-on-year (YoY) surge. Arabian Cement Co. came second with a 39% YoY leap.
On the other hand, nine cement producers recorded lower sales, dragged by Northern Region Cement Co. with a drop of 56% YoY. United Cement Co. took the second place with a decline of 28% YoY.
